Subverting the Web3 zeitgeist with iconic pop culture

The year is 2021. The subreddit Wallstreetbets is championing a new breed of investor – the degens. They are going to the moon, playing the greed of wallstreet at their own game, hoovering up as much AMC and GME stock with their COVID-19 pandemic stimmy checks to force that all powerful short squeeze. Lambos for everyone.

At the same time digital artist Beeple is set to become a frequent late-night talkshow guest selling his NFT "Everydays: The First 5000 Days" at iconic auction house Christies for $69M and propelling him be the highest paid living artist whilst blazing the term "NFT" into the collective mainstream retina.

As we move into this new era of the web, TYCA1 seeks to subvert the Web3 Zeitgeist with iconic pop culture from the dawn of Web2. The humble T-shirt seems the most fitting medium for such an expression of identity and social commentary..
